Mermaid's Have More Fun
I love the seaside. I think growing up so close to the sea
has its own effect on me, whenever there's a sunny day at school I think about
how lovely it would be on the beach... today was one of those days. Opening my
curtains and seeing the sunshine meant today was the day for mermaid chic...
The look from head to toe:
I'm a big fan of a graphic tee, especially when I've been waiting for
one just like this! The top itself is a little thin but what you do expect from
a top that price. The shells themselves are really well transferred, meaning
that they aren't hard and horrible and when washed they shouldn't flake away.
Skirt: ASOS Outlet bought for £6 original price of £40...
I'm quite proud of that
This is a
really pretty and modern pleated skirt.
Sometimes I think pleated skirts remind me of school uniforms of past
but I just love the beautiful blue metallic fabric. This skirt also holds the
pleats beautifully but still remains soft and comfy which is a huge bonus.
Cardigan: Primark £1 (sale) I love cardigans; they are a cute and easy way of keeping warm. I love
sparkles, who doesn’t want to feel special and sparkly every day? Therefore
this sparkly navy cardigan is one of my favourite items in my wardrobe, it’s
easy to throw on before leaving the house and I find it also finishes an outfit
off very nicely.
Socks: Primark £2 and Shoes:
Primark...I will admit these were stolen from my sister so for me the shoes
were free! I
think matching a simple sandal and frilly sock is a very easy and simple way of
adding the finishing pizzazz to an outfit.
Necklace: Punky Pins £2 (sale) My sister introduced me to acrylic necklaces, though at first I was a
little sceptical because they can be very in your face but now...I've
converted. This particular necklace was actually my first piece of, I love the
mermaid phase in fashion and this shell saying 'mermaids have more fun' was the
perfect starting point.
Well I hope you enjoyed today's outfit, I certainly did and don't forget everything is coming up roses.
